MSF activities and daily life of the refugees in Tasnimarkhola camp
Over 671,000 Rohingya (as of 15 February) have fled to Bangladesh from Rakhine State in Myanmar following an escalation in violence on 25 August. Refugees are still living in makeshift shelters in overly populated settlements. Many lack access to safe drinking water and have poor hygiene and sanitation conditions. MSF is running several health posts, primary health centres and hospitals in the camps - by far the largest one being Kutupalong-Balukali - and conducting water and sanitation activities, like drilling boreholes to provide water.
